Doughies is an upcoming NFT project set inside a strange little retro bakery. Its illustrated storefront, colourful cast and diner-inspired website introduce the collection through personality. Trait experiments, daily games and community rituals give people a reason to take a seat before the collection launches.
Sunset storefronts, striped awnings, chrome counters and expressive characters build a coherent world across the website. The visual system carries into illustrated trait rooms, collection previews and a community diner. Blender character and environment studies explore that same world in three dimensions.
Eyes, mouths, hats, outfits, flavours and accessories establish the character vocabulary. The Trait-O-Matic introduces the categories, while the Tasting Flight lets visitors vote on trait concepts. The upcoming Fresh Batch collection is planned for Ethereum through OpenSea; its art and traits are still in development.
The Game Room, Bake-Off, Regulars Wall and Catering Counter turn a collection website into a place to participate. Daily games, community votes and collaboration enquiries use the language of the diner, giving each interaction a place within the same world.
